What is NM2AI?
NM2AI or N-methyl-2-aminoindane or N-methyl-2-indanamine is the latest replacement for the popular research chemicals MDAI and 2-AI. Chemically, NM2AI is simply the n-methyl version of 2-AI which is known to act as a stimulant like rigid analogue of amphetamine. Due to chemical similarities between NM2AI and MDAI/2-AI it is possible that there is some selective seretonin releasing activity and some norepinephrine/dopamine action respectively. This is an extremely new chemical so more information will arise once the appropriate receptor ligand binding assays have been performed.

What is NM2AI used for?
